We hope that you enjoy seeing a bit of the fun we have in 4th Grade.
In Science we have been talking about how it is important to observe and write down what we see. We have talked about how important it is to be able to write clear and accurate directions. Today we got a visit from the University of Utah's Geology department. They introduced us to rocks and minerals. We were able to explore and have hands on with some great rocks and minerals.
We finished reading Fourth Grade Rats by Jerry Spenelli. We learned that you don't have to change to be who you are. We learned that we are all different and unique and special. We learned that being a "Rat" can come with its own set of problems. We also talked about writing descriptions. We hope you enjoy our self portraits hanging in the hall.
